Two people on rooftops on either side of a bay at night, each reading a phone, with a thread of light across the sky between the two cities.

Someone else is awake

The Night Lounge is the room everyone shares. There are others too, smaller and slower, and you can see who’s in one and what kind of night it’s having before you say a word.

Lounges

Rooms with a subject and a mood of their own. Find one in the directory, see how many are in it and how lively it is, and step in.

Gatherings

Name an hour and what it’s for, once or every week. People say they’ll come, and the room opens ten minutes before the hour, whether or not you’re there yet.

See what’s planned

Tonight’s energy

Every room reads its own mood from how people are talking: the questions, the long messages, the quick back and forth. Open it to see the night so far, and a line on how the room feels.

A hand turning the tuning knob of an old radio at night, its amber dial glowing behind rain-flecked glass.

Midnight has a frequency

Every room has music playing under the talk, from the house playlist. Press play once and it carries on as you move from room to room.

It plays even when the Night Lounge is shut for you, so you can wait for ten o’clock with it on.

Twelve skies to sit under

Behind every page is one of twelve atmospheres, and you choose which. The night sky has tonight’s moon in it. The orrery keeps the real time and warms between two and four. The radio and the record move with the music.
